At Palestinian Federation of Textile and Garment Industries, we offer a comprehensive package of services aimed at supporting member factories and enhancing the competitiveness of the sector. Our services include representation before government agencies, facilitation of administrative procedures, marketing and export support, training, coordination with donors, and social and research support. We work with our partners at home and abroad to ensure a better working environment and broader growth opportunities for the clothing and textile sector.

Issuance and Organization of Work Permits for Factory Owners

We facilitate the procedures required to obtain the necessary work permits for factory owners and companies.

Representation and Communication with Government Authorities

The Union represents the interests of its members before government bodies and relevant official authorities related to the garment and textile sector. We work on presenting the challenges faced by factories and submitting technical and legislative proposals that contribute to improving the business environment and developing supportive sector policies.

Support in Marketing and Sales

We work on opening new sales channels and promoting products in a way that strengthens the presence of factories in local markets and prepares them to expand into export markets.

Support for Factories in Export and Logistics

We provide guidance and support to factories seeking to export their products to international markets. This includes assistance in understanding target market requirements, facilitating export procedures, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.

Training and Capacity Building

We design and implement specialized training programs and workshops to enhance the skills of workers and administrators in the garment and textile sector. Our programs focus on developing technical and managerial skills, improving production quality, and increasing productivity, positively impacting factory performance and sustainability, based on the concept of on-the-job training.

Coordination with Donors and Supporting Partners

The Union coordinates with donor agencies and international and local institutions to attract technical and financial support programs serving the garment and textile sector. We prepare and submit project proposals that meet the needs of factories and ensure that this support is directed effectively to achieve a long-term impact on the sector.

Sector Research and Studies

The Union conducts periodic studies and research to monitor the status of the garment and textile sector and analyze challenges and opportunities in local and international markets. The results of these studies are used to shape the Union’s positions, prepare policy papers, and guide support and development programs in the interest of its members and the sector as a whole.

Social Support

Providing social support for workers in the sector, such as health insurance and in-kind assistance in emergency situations.
