The opening of the Khaitan Gaza Center, funded by the Japanese government and implemented by UNIDO, was held in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Khaled Al-Esily, Minister of National Economy.

Today, His Excellency Mr. Khaled Al-Esily, Minister of National Economy, inaugurated the Khaitan Gaza Center, funded by the Japanese government and implemented by UNIDO. His Excellency toured the various sections of the center and expressed his admiration for the high standards and facilities it contains, as well as the positive impact it will have on the development of the clothing and textile sector in Gaza.
The accompanying delegation included Mrs. Suha Awwad, Director of International Cooperation at the Ministry of National Economy, Mr. Naseem Nour, Director of the Trade Facilitation and Customs - Export Program, and Mr. Rami Al-Wahidi.
He commended the significant support provided by the Ministry of National Economy, especially from His Excellency Minister Khaled Al-Esily, thanking him for his efforts in supporting industry and manufacturers, and expressing the great joy and honor felt by the Union’s Board of Directors and its members in having His Excellency minister the opening of the center.
