The project aims directly at supporting women’s employment in the garment industry.

During the initial phase, 145 women were employed across 20 factories under training contracts lasting up to six months. The project covered the trainees’ salaries fully for the first two months, 75% in the third and fourth months, and 50% in the fifth and sixth months. The remaining salary was funded by the participating factories.

The second phase of the project will commence at the beginning of 2023. It will involve training 110 women with 100 hours of theoretical and practical training in various sewing skills. Following this, they will be distributed across 12 factories under six-month training contracts, following the same mechanism as the first phase.
Additionally, the program includes upgrading and adapting several beneficiary factories. In 2023, seven factories will be rehabilitated to facilitate the employment of women within these facilities.
