National Project for Assessing and Mapping Industrial Sector Damages in the Gaza Strip
In line with its commitment to supporting the resilience of the Palestinian industrial sector and advancing economic recovery efforts, the General Union of Palestinian Industries (GUPI), in cooperation with the Palestinian Ministry of Industry, and with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), has launched the National Project for Assessing and Mapping Industrial Sector Damages in the Gaza Strip.
The project aims to collect accurate and comprehensive data on the scale and nature of damages incurred by industrial establishments across various specialized sectors as a result of the recent aggression. This includes small, medium, and large enterprises, whether the damages are partial or total.
The project seeks to establish a reliable database that will contribute to:
-
Guiding emergency response and recovery plans.
-
Identifying priority intervention areas.
-
Supporting industrial reconstruction and recovery efforts.
-
Enabling local and international partners to design data-driven support programs based on verified and realistic information.
The project calls upon all affected industrial facility owners across the Gaza Strip governorates to participate by completing the designated online questionnaire, ensuring accurate representation of the industrial sector’s current conditions and actual needs.
To ensure data accuracy and proper assessment procedures, participants are advised to watch the introductory guidance video explaining the steps and instructions for completing the questionnaire before starting the registration process. The video provides a clear overview of how to enter the required information and avoid common errors.
As part of the registration requirements, participants must download, review, sign, and upload the declaration and commitment form through the KoBo platform in the designated section. Uploading the signed form is a mandatory requirement for application approval and completion of registration.
