Enhancing the employment in the sewing industrial sector
The project aims to train 50 young men and women in industrial tailoring skills, including 30 males and 20 females, with the objective of enhancing their professional competencies and preparing them for integration into the labor market within the garment and textile sector.
The project focuses on bridging the gap between vocational training and the actual needs of factories by providing targeted, hands-on training that supplies the sector with skilled and productive labor.
Funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the project includes the signing of employment agreements between factories and trainees, linking trainees with factories during the training period and enabling real employment opportunities upon completion.
The project also contributes to establishing cooperation and networking agreements between beneficiaries and factories within production lines, supporting the sustainability of employment opportunities.
In addition, the project includes the opening of a product exhibition showcasing the training outputs of the trainees, reflecting both theoretical and practical training outcomes conducted at the training center and within factories, and highlighting the project’s impact on beneficiaries and the labor market.
